What that means when you are actually buying

It is not an abstract promise, so here is the practical version:

  • You will be shown every property that matches what you asked for.  Nobody here decides which neighbourhoods you would “be comfortable in”.
  • You will not be steered towards or away from an area because of who you are, and you will not be asked questions designed to work that out.
  • Having children does not change which houses you are shown or what terms are offered.
  • A service animal is not a pet, and a request for a reasonable accommodation or modification will be passed to the seller or landlord properly rather than quietly dropped.
  • The same information, the same access and the same negotiating effort go to every client.
